Thanks Veritas, I have been trying for a long time to find out the necessity of Java in my computer. It didn't come with it, but one day it popped up and asked me to download it. That is why I questioning the need of this device in my computer.. I gotten many responses saying that, I need it, and how to download it, but nobody tells me exactly which files need it. I have read everything I found available in the internet, about it, but it is all the same, and I still don't know the answer to what I am asking.

So, I still don't know what to do. I guess I will leave alone for now. If I ever have to tune up this machine, I will leave Java out and see what happens. If I remove the last update, will it go back to what it was there before? Would it hurt anything if I just completly remove Java from my computer? This thread is locked.
